I have worked as Project Coordinator or Development Worker on a number of amazing projects in the third sector and have excellent transferable skills.
Creative Communities


- A lottery funded project for Swarthmore Education Centre. Arts workshops and two community artist residency projects were used to promote inclusion, reduce isolation and support well-being in marginalised communities in South Leeds.
- Responsibilities included: budget management, engagement and supervision of participants and artists, networking with community and third sector organisations in South Leeds, venue hire and refreshments, working with volunteers, curating and organising events and exhibitions, sourcing equipment and materials, monitoring and evaluation and publicity.
BEYOND


- Arts Council funded project for Pyramid, BEYOND designed to support artists with additional needs / neurodiversity to develop their individual talent and practice.
- Managing the project for two years I recruited specialist artist and practitioners, managed the budget, supported individual artists by establishing and meeting their needs and promoting development, curated events and exhibitions, managed the website, and provided content for social media.
Swarthmore Connected and Still Connected Projects

- A six month Chromebook Loan Scheme, for which follow-on funding was obtained to sustain it for a further 6 months. Digitally excluded students and individuals from all sectors of society within Leeds, were enagaged during extended periods of lockdown / partial lockdown, with a view to teaching the skills to allow them to engage in online courses and workshops, as well as using them for personal activities.
- The role included: managing the distribution of Chromebooks, recruiting and training volunteers, matching volunteers to participants, producing appropriate instructional materials, setting up and facilitating appropriate online classes and, when lockdown eased, organising and supervising distanced digital help sessions at the centre.
Art in Isolation

Art in Isolation was an online lockdown project engaging students from Swathmore Education Centre in online Arts Workshops to support mental health, well-being and social interaction during this difficult time.
