Arts Facilitation
I am trained in Textile Design and have been a practising arts facilitator for many years. I believe that being creative enhances well-being and self-esteem. It can be a tool for learning and improves communication and decision making. Art inspires the imagination, provides connectivity to different aspects of the world and sends everyone home with a buzz.
Project Coordination
I love making a good project happen. I have been delighted to have been given the opportunity to lead funded projects including the Creative Communities Project for Swarthmore Education Centre and BEYOND for Pyramid.
Inclusivity is of paramount importance to me and I am proficient at differentiating tasks and skills to ensure everyone is engaged.

Personal work
My work is inspired by the outdoors, the natural and the man made world. I explore colour, texture and movement through drawing, painting and felt-making. My work is produced through drawing, sketchbook work and experimentation, working up to a finished piece.
About Me
I trained in Textile Design at Huddersfield Polytechnic, graduating in 1989.
Since then I have been self-employed working as an artist, worked in adult social care, brought up two children, returned to self-employment and built up experience developing and coordinating projects.
I am interested in all things environmental and sustainable. I relax by doing art and being outside – walking, cycling, social kayaking and pottering about in the garden.
